We are holding a campus security forum this Sunday, June 24th from 9:30-10:15 am. We hope to see you there. The primary intent is to get feedback and implementation suggestions from the congregation on the Council’s guidelines about guests on campus. The guidelines were published in the June newsletter and are below.
1. We discourage overnight stays by anyone on our campus unless we can provide adequate supervision and access to at least a toilet.
2. We recommend, as a congregation, to explore possibilities to help solve the larger homeless issue in Fountain Valley and to investigate partnering with other churches and organizations within Fountain Valley and the surrounding area to help solve this issue.
As part of this more comprehensive view we might be able to develop a way to house the homeless on our and other campuses in the city.
